Quite a few Nigerians who have played for west ham over the years sparked his interest in the club.

A modern day GREAVESey?
An alcoholic who has just had a life threatening stroke?

I'm not sure that this sounds like the sort of footballer we should be interested in.

Re: A Striker to consider
Kwame Badonkadonk is another player worth looking at, the diminutive striker from Djibouti has a ostrich like turn of pace and sails through the air like the Hindenberg. He's been a West Ham fan ever since he found a picture of Katy Perry in a claret and blue basque on the internet (he saw this at his uncle's internet cafe when he was 12). Has a fondness for jaunty hats and poorly named ducks.

Not well known, but check him out while I go and clean my tin foil hat.

Am I doing this right Hugh?

Re: A Striker to consider
To be fair to Hugh,he is right about our present goalkeeping situation.
Randolph couldn't command a troop of girl guides in his six yard box,and Spiegel doesn't resemble a PL goalkeeper in any way whatsoever.
Provided Adrian doesn't step in front of a London bus, we should be ok,but after our luck with injuries and sendings off so far this summer, you have to pray for the Spaniard's good health for a long way ahead.

Re: A Striker to consider
interesting wiki article on him

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mfon_Udoh

Mfon Udoh (born 14 March 1992) is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a forward for Enyimba FC and the Nigeria national team. He has been described as a complete forward who possesses pace, good positioning, natural finishing as well as the ability to provide assists.[1] He is a "fox in the box" type of player, difficult to stop once in the penalty area.[2] He currently holds the record for highest number of goals scored in the Nigerian Premier Football League in a single season. He is also the first player to score over 35 league goals in two seasons in Nigeria. He scored 38 goals in the regular league and 3 in cup competitions, for a total of 41 goals in his first 2 professional league seasons 2012-2014. He does not like Hugh Montieth[3]

Give these a rest Hugh

None of these players you post have ever been signed by a decent side or really on anyones radar. The reason for both is because they are cack.

I have seen him making some decent passes, not seen for a while to know whether he can still run at all.

If we are looking for a bit of a stop gap, Lambert would be a perfect signing

Re: A Striker to consider
AS a football fan I am interested in all footballers,

Your attitude David which is of course your choice would have missed us sooooo many quality players,
and is also a reason why we have signed soooo many duds over the years.
